Limoncello is an Italian liqueur made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water and sugar. It's sweet, not sour, because no lemon juice or pulp is used. Limoncello has been enjoyed in Italy for close to a century, and is usually served ice cold after dinner, or in-between courses as a palate cleanser.

(Marlborough) A brilliant, pale straw green colour. This is a classically restrained, style of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is ultra clean, with precise lime and grapefruit citrus characters lifting the ripe gooseberry and tropical fruit notes typical of the region and variety. Further complexity is enhanced by the subtle flinty notes from a small portion of barrel fermentation. The palate has citrus notes, building through classic gooseberry and passionfruit, to more exotic tropical elements.
Highfield

Also displaying hits of nettle, tomato leag, broom, and herbal notes. A luscious palate showing an abundance of grapefruit, peach and fresh minerality. Well balanced with crisp acidity and a delightfully long finish.

(Nelson) Fresh, vibrant fruit flavours, subtle oak and focused acidity. Pretty nectarine and white peach flavours with a hint of apple blossom, and that lovely biscuity aroma and creamy texture.
Highfield
46.00
(Marlborough) The grapes for this Chardonnay were hand picked from a single vineyard situated on the other side of the Mill Stream, below Highfield. The free-run juice was barrel fermentated in a mixture of new and one year old barriques, and matured giving a beautiful balance of fruit and oak. A fine and elegant expression of Marlborough Chardonnay.
Aromas of grapefruit and nectarine combine with subtle oak, brioche and biscuit notes. On the palate, fine and elegant with some creamy and toasty flavours. Oatmeal with layers of citrus and marmalade with refreshing minerality make this a focused and well balanced wine with a long lasting finish.

(Marlborough) The wine has a pale straw green colour with just the barest hint of pink from the skins. It shows characteristic baking spices aromatics along with ripe golden delicious, white peach, and pear compote. The barrel fermentation components show nuttiness while the wild yeast portion contributes a yoghurt like complexity. The palate is satisfyingly bodied with a modicum of residual sugar to round out the mouthfeel.

(Marlborough) This Riesling shows aromas of lemon, lime, and apple blossom and a lovely mineral earthiness to accentuate the floral aromatics. The palate is taut and dry with just a hint of residual sugar to balance the wine's acid spine. Flavours of mandarin, lemon and lime run through the mid-palate with the characteristic minerality of the vineyard showing on the long clean finish.
Muritai

(Nelson) Off dry Riesling at its best. A gorgeous floral and tangerine nose leads to a rosehip and Turkish delight palate. The mid palate is particularly fat and generous. The palate lingers and finally tapers to a finish of acidity. Delightful.
Bishops Head Dry Reserve
39.00
(Marlborough) Fuller, richer and more complex in style, the nose is gently fragrant with ripe apple, citrus, beeswax and a touch of nutty characters. The palate is richly flavoured with excellent mid palate weight and texture. The slight sweetness is well countered ny the bright acidity, leaving the palate crisp and refreshed. The barrel fermented portion (25%) seems to have added an extra dimension and a savoury component.
